Awards and Recognitions

FAME programming has been honored as a recipient of the Indiana Governor’s Arts Award, the State Farm Insurance Good Neighbors Award, the Parents Magazine’s “As They Grow” Award, the Arts United Margaret Ann Keegan Award, and the Business Weekly Arts Innovation Award. As a national model, FAME was ceremonially recognized by Hillary Clinton at the White House in 1999 and in 2016 by Indiana First Lady’s Charitable Foundation for FAME’s focus on its mission upon which it was founded. The Fort Wayne and Wabash chapters were also replicated in Merrillville and Muncie in the past.
