In other news our Composition Project is moving forward nicely. Our Composer in Residence Troy Webdell released the score to the Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Youth Ballet and Children’s Choir this week for the next phase of development. We are excited to see the final product at the Festival.

We enjoyed seeing all of you who came out to our annual Teacher’s Meeting. If you were unable to attend you missed a wonderful meal in the spirit of the Caribbean. In other news our Composition Project kicked off this week so we are officially on island time and very excited to begin our year of cultural exploration. Tides and Tales of the Caribbean with a focus on Jamaica, Puerto Rico, The Dominican Republic and Cuba. We hope you will join us.

FAME’s long time business manager, Christine Thompson have retired today. She served with three different FAME Executive Directors! FAME wishes for her a happy and very deserved retirement!

Just a friendly reminder that our Composition Project registration deadline is fast approaching. We still have availability for your recommended students to participate in this unique experience. Reminder there is no cost for the students in this event. Space is limited sign up today! I have included links for more information below. We also have teacher’s closet art and music supplies please submit your requests per the link below.

Dear Teachers,
I hope everyone is settled in and their school year is off to a smooth start. Before you go into a well deserved long weekend I wanted to remind you about our annual teacher’s meeting coming up next week. I’ve included information below.
